Our Typepad blog has served us well, but we'll soon be moving to an absolutely fabulous new space.

I had yet another fabulous boudoir session at the studio recently. I can't tell you anything about this gorgeous woman except that she has graciously agreed to let me show you a couple of her photos. She is lovely, n'est-ce pas?

Stephanie and Andrew are expecting a little boy any day now.  I don't know this for a fact, but surely it's illegal to be this pregnant and look this good! No? Well it ought to be! Congratulations, you two!

So Fabulous . . .

We had the real pleasure of photographing Miss E over the weekend. She and her mom came from over an hour away to have E's senior pictures made. We loved the time we spent with them and we hope they feel it was worth the trip! And if you're a high school senior (or if you know someone who is) don't forget to stop by our senior blog.

Calling All Indie Brides . . .

You know the type: she knows who she is and what she wants in life and in her wedding. Her  wedding day is about her new marriage, her friends, and her family and it is not necessarily about rules and regulations that other people have invented for her. This bride likes to do things her  way. She has style and spirit, wit and charm,  and  she wants those things reflected in her  wedding ceremony and reception. Finding the right photographer is also very important to her.

If you are that bride, or if you know that bride, then I want to talk to you.

We have a select number of dates left to fill in 2008 and I would like to photograph as many "indie"  weddings as I possibly can. Some of them may be included in a special project that I have in mind for 2009.

What is an "indie" wedding? Wonderfully, I believe there's no definition that's set in stone. The independent bride does not have a certain age, budget, or style. What she does have is fierce independence and a desire to do things that follow her own fashion. She is modern, fun-loving, and full of wonderful ideas that she will use to personalize her  wedding day.

If this describes you, and if you are getting married in 2008,  email me now and tell me about your wedding plans. If you are open to giving your photographer complete creative freedom, I would love to talk with you about how we can work together.
