The Inn at 97 Winder...

Just let me tell you that I love this place. Love it!! And I am serious when I say that it is the sexiest place in Detroit.

The Inn at 97 Winder is one of Detroit's undiscovered treasures.

This beautiful house was built in 1876 and is currently owned by Ghassan and Marilyn Nash-Yazbeck.

They bought the property in the 1980s and have lovingly and meticulously restored its beauty and grandeur. It is now a 10 bedroom inn that first opened to the public on December 3, 2005.

The Yazbecks left no detail unattended to in their restoration and decoration of the Inn. The house is swathed in silks, objets d'art, tapestries and crystal.  Fabulous chandeliers and gorgeous antiques are everywhere.

There are 10 bedrooms, each with private bath, and each decorated with a different theme.  Who knew that elegance had so many faces?  Guests are served a gourmet breakfast, and other amenities include beverages and snacks, Egyptian cotton towels and sheets, and private parking. In addition to being the ideal spot for a romantic getaway a deux, 97 Winder is also available for weddings, meetings and retreats.
