So Fabulous . . .
We had the real pleasure of photographing Miss E over the weekend. She and her mom came from over an hour away to have E's senior pictures made. We loved the time we spent with them and we hope they feel it was worth the trip! And if you're a high school senior (or if you know someone who is) don't forget to stop by our senior blog.
Jasmine...
You may remember seeing the lovely and talented Jasmine once before on this blog. It's true: we shot the first in a series of senior portraits for her back in August. Well, her mother has commissioned us to photograph the four seasons of Jasmine's senior year and we'll be doing a LifeStories™ album for her just before graduation!
We were so lucky to have one of the last really beautiful autumn days for Jasmine's most recent set of photos, many of which were shot in and around the UM Law Quad. How fitting for a young lady who plans to major in Criminal Justice and then go on to law school. Take a look.
Tara...
Yet another fantastic senior! I still don't know how I got so very lucky.
I first met Tara almost two years ago when I photographed her brother Corey's wedding to the fabulous Jill D. I remembered a sweet young girl with braces. Boy, was I ever surprised when we met to do her photo shoot!
Tara has become a terrific young woman with ambitions to study early childhood education and to open her own childcare center. It was great to spend some time with her and to reconnect with her mother, Teresa, and the aforementioned Jill. (BTW, Jill did all of Tara's makeup, hair, and wardrobe styling. Wish I had a sister-in-law like that!) We had a ball!

Ashley...
Just in case anyone doesn't know this, I love photographing high school seniors! There's something about taking a look at infinite possibility that I just adore.
I had a lot of fun with Ashley. She'll be graduating in December and she told me that her dream has always been to go to Central Michigan University. I'm sure she'll make it -- she is so smart, so gorgeous and so authentic. Really a delight to be around. Ashley enjoys playing her guitar, and I was so surprised to learn that we have very similar tastes in music. What goes around, comes around, they say.

We got up very early Sunday morning and headed to the beach at Belle Isle to shoot the first in a series of senior photos for Jasmine.
I feel so privileged to have the opportunity to photograph this young lady. Jasmine is the niece of my longtime friend Shawn, and she is a terrific testament to how wonderful the next generation really is. This girl rocks the looks and the books! She has a 4.0 grade-point average, plays soccer, holds down a part-time job, and has a full scholarship to the University of Michigan waiting for her when she graduates! You go girl...
